Employee Safety Responsibilities
At Gas Field Specialists, safety is a shared responsibility. Every employee is expected to follow established safety standards, make safe decisions, and help protect the people and job sites around them.
Safety Responsibility Starts With the Individual
A strong safety culture depends on every employee making the right decisions in the field. At Gas Field Specialists, responsibility means following procedures, speaking up about hazards, and never creating or allowing conditions that could cause harm to yourself, co-workers, or third parties.
Working safely is a responsibility expected from every employee at Gas Field Specialists. Our team is required to follow company safety programs, health requirements, and OSHA regulations while performing every task with awareness, discipline, and accountability.
This responsibility includes supporting Goal Zero, applying the 12 Life Saving Rules, following our Golden Rules, and reinforcing the Safety Integrity Respect (S.I.R.) program in the field every day. Employees are also expected to report unsafe conditions, use Stop Work Authority when necessary, and help protect both themselves and their fellow workers.
